Melanie Vautour has been our Executive Director since 2018! Having worked with individuals and families living in poverty for more than 20 years and working in the non-profit sector for just over 25, she is passionate about social justice! She has worked in women’s economic development, street outreach and support services, as well as developing and implementing housing support programs for women. Melanie is an inaugural graduate of the Women’s Leadership program from the Coady Institute, NS. When not in the Waterloo Village, she is most likely spending time with her grandchildren and a myriad of pets, curled up in her home library or trying to convince those around her in Rivendell to visit a galaxy far, far away, on the Enterprise to find their way to Platform 9 ¾!
